Ahlan! Welcome!

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Ahlan! It's been a few years since the blogging adventure A Muslim Child is Born first started (by the Mercy of Allaah). Alhamdulillaah, many of us have gotten to know (virtually) several children as we have watched their journey of seeking knowledge as presented on their parents' blogs. And now, insha'Allaah, the learning adventure will continue with A Muslim Child Grows Up! Many of those children whom we have watched grow (virtually via the internet) are now growing up subhana'Allaah. Their minds are growing and stretching and continually making sense of the world around them alhamdulillaah; hence this new blog: A Muslim Child Grows Up.

On this blog, biithnillaah, resources will be provided to help our smallest (but now growing quickly tabarakallaah!) children continue seeking knowledge. However, unlike the resources on A Muslim Child is Born , all of the resources feature on this blog will not be free. Why?

The clipart and graphics that I'd like to use to produce quality resources for grades 1 and above have a stipulation in the license that states the purchaser cannot use the graphics in freebies or giveways. If a person wishes to use the graphics to design free resources (or a resource that will be used in a giveaway on a blog), they must purchase a separate license on top of the cost of the clipart/graphics and this makes the cost of the clipart expensive.

But this doesn't mean that there won't be freebies (soon a FREEBIES label will appear on the side bar insha'Allaah) and as often as possible, freebies will slip in among the products sold in this blog's Teachers Notebook store: That Was Fun! Plus...the products that are sold in the online store will be very inexpensive biithnillaah.

Also, it has not been decided which grades this blog will cover but soon insha'Allaah, that will be announced. But that aside, insha'Allaah, you'll join the adventure and continue to share your homeschooling (and traditional classroom) learning adventures with us as our Muslim children grow up alhamdulillaah!
